Shelley Building & Contracting is a family run business providing comprehensive building services in Worcestershire.

We specialise in extensions, conversions, new builds and complete building renovations and refurbishment services throughout Worcestershire and Gloucestershire, to suit all of your building needs.

We provide solutions designed to suit your requirements, from project conception to completion.

Kris & his team undertook some major renovation works to the entire ground floor of our house between February & June 2023.

We spoke to numerous builders after we’d finalised our plans with our architect and were impressed with how enthused Kris was with our project, he quickly understood what we were looking for and provided a much more detailed quote than we received from any other contractors. As with most good builders, we had to wait a few months before they could start, but we had lots of discussions about the plans, and Kris provided a straightforward contract for us to work to.

We knew that the most challenging aspect of the work would be that we, as a family of 4 with 2 young children would be living in our house throughout. Kris was especially aware of this, and everyday made sure that the ground floor, (even when it had been completely gutted), was always left childproof at the end of the working day.

We couldn’t have asked for more from Kris and his team, they were punctual, honest, hard-working, and genuinely a pleasure to have in our home. The quality of the work they have produced for us has been fantastic, and the extra bits that we added to our works have been completed for a reasonable price, and to a very high standard. I can’t recommend Shelley Building & Contracting highly enough.

Very positive experience with Kristian & his team, they worked with us for nearly 5 months on a single storey extension & we couldn't be happier with it.

From day one Kristian was very professional but friendly & relaxed, he looked & listened to what we needed & his quote was very detailed covering every aspect of the job & very clearly identifiying the scope & things not included.

All projects on this scale have challenges but Kristian always looked for good solutions, best for the build not the easiest for him & it always felt like he was invested in the project. Throughout the build he was in regular contact, it was very important to us as we were living 90 mins away & so could not be on site every day, seending us photos of each significant stage of the build. We were simultaneously rennovating the original property & he worked well with the contractors we had engaged enabling the two projects to progress seamlessly.

We still have additional work to do on a workshop, drive & landscaping & will definately be using Kristian to complete this as soon as planning permits. I'd be happy to recommend him to anyone with a project big or small.

Kris and his team recently carried out a downstairs renovation project for us which involved knocking through from our existing kitchen to the old dining room to make one open plan space and creating a separate utility and TV room in our integrated garage. From the outset Kris' communication was excellent and this continued throughout the whole process. Work was carried out on time and guys brought in to do the electrics and plumbing were reliable and approachable. Issues when they occurred were resolved without any hassle and the whole job was carried out in a very friendly, professional and diligent manner by the whole team.
